Founded in 2006, PilotShares focused on providing owner-pilots in the Phoenix, Arizona area a high performance aircraft and service experience by combining the inherent benefits of shared resources with an attention to operations understood by only another owner-pilot, creating a shared ownership program centered on the Cirrus SR22.

By 2009, partnership needs were evolving, and the search for a capable but efficient business aircraft brought a Pilatus PC-12 to the fleet. With its new ownership prepared to bear substantial costs for relatively low utilization, we presented a plan to employ an unique revenue tool bringing significant cost offsets without negatively affecting owner experience. The PilotShares Dry Lease program was born.

Since then, lessees on that aircraft as well as clients new to the program have engaged us to find, acquire, and manage their own acquisitions, ranging from Socata TBM and Pilatus PC12 turboprops to Citation Mustang and CJ-Series light jets, often with inclusion in our dry lease program. Many more have then found their ideal solution through the dry lease program without taking on the responsibilities of ownership.

Based at the Scottsdale airport in the Phoenix metro area, PilotShares now counts management and lease clients throughout the Southwest and California, with acquisition and brokerage clients throughout North America.

Combining a passion for flight with personal experience undertaking the ownership challenges, financial responsibilities, and operating environment making it possible, our team provides reliable and candid research, advice, and guidance on these important issues, giving you the information necessary to make the decisions right for you. Supported by backgrounds in Fixed Base Operations ownership, light aircraft sales and maintenance, airline operations and management, professional piloting, and eight years of successful operations, we’re equipped to bring you the right solution and ensure it meets expectations into the future.
